Live Cheese Class: 16 Years of Favorites

Class Time: Wednesday, September 16th, 5:30PM

This month is Cheesetique's 16th birthday. In honor of this milestone, I want to celebrate 16 years of my very favorite things with you all. Get ready to travel around the world and back... sweet 16 indeed! Also joining the class is the 93-Point Châteauneuf-du-Pape by Domaine Paul Autard for pairing. This is the same producer and wine that we enjoyed on our honeymoon 19 years ago—a watershed moment in how I could enjoy and be moved by wine.

Your $55 ticket includes:

  • A "class kit" with all tasting items: Brie Fermier (France), Piave Vecchio (Italy), Shropshire Blue (England), Red Hawk washed-rind triple-créme (California), and Speck cured ham (Italy). We'll also enjoy my favorite accompaniment (cornichons) and Raincoast Crisp crackers. Each kit serves 2 - 4 tasters.
  • Access to our interactive LIVE class taught by Cheesetique's owner, Jill Erber, through Vimeo. You will be able to chat, ask questions, and taste as a group! Class lasts about an hour and 15 minutes.
  • Educational handout for following along in class
  • A bottle of Paul Autard Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2017 is available as an add-on. (93 Points, Wine Spectator; 92 Points, Jeb Dunnuck)

How it works:

  • Purchase your ticket and indicate where you will pick up your class kit. Class kits cannot be shipped at this time.
  • On Wednesday, September 16th, between noon and 5pm, pick up your kit. Keep it refrigerated until one hour before the class. 
  • On Wednesday, September 16th, at 5:30pm, use a computer or mobile device to enter the link and join the class (admission requires a password, so please don't share it). The link and password will be included in your handout.
  • Follow along, taste together, chat with each other, ask questions, and just enjoy. It's that easy!
