Join us at Cheesetique Shirlington for this special evening featuring four courses expertly paired with four wines from the world-class Stag's Leap Wine Cellars winery including the FAY Cabernet Sauvignon from the Estate Collection which earned 96 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. In addition, each course provides a showcase of California cheeses.

About Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, notably known for being the winery that won the Cabernet Sauvignon competition in the famous 1976 Judgment of Paris, was founded in 1970, and is considered a Napa Valley first-growth estate.

Their signature style has often been described as “an iron fist in a velvet glove,” a reference to the artful balance between ripeness and restraint, softness and structure, that yields Napa Valley wines of exceptional beauty and long life. Achieving that style requires a level of attention to detail found only among the world’s best and most dedicated wine producers.

Featured Commentary

Representing Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is Victoria Pons-Strigari, a wine educator with a background in Agricultural Chemistry. She studied in Spain where she earned a Master's Degree in Viticulture and Oenology. Victoria will discuss the Stag's Leap history, approach to wine making, and the profile of each of the selected wines.

Chef Natasha Shishkevish and Cheese Lady Jill Erber will comment on the course composition and cheeses chosen to highlight each wine's unique character.
