About Besserat de Bellefon

More than just a Champagne, Besserat de Bellefon is a secret that has been passed down since 1843. Slipped into a picnic basket, in the shade of pergolas, on the banks of the “Seine”, for a spontaneous game of “Pétanque”, it transforms a stolen moment into a lifetime memory. Oh, so French. Besserat de Bellefon has the nonchalance of a Champagne produced from exceptional soil, and the insouciance of almost two centuries of existence.

Featured Commentary

Representing Besserat de Bellefon is international wine expert and representative of the House Christina Thornton. Along with Ms. Thornton, Chef Natasha Shishkevish and Cheese Lady Jill Erber will comment on the Champagne selection, course composition, and cheeses chosen to highlight each wine's unique character.
