Fine cheese is a relatively unexplored universe for the American palate. In Europe, neighborhood cheese shops are a common occurrence. Cheesetique’s goal is to bring that same widespread appreciation of cheese to the American neighborhood. As more of us travel overseas and witness the immense selection of cheeses – and the art that cheese appreciation is – our desire to have access to such items increases. Additionally, we are growing tired of the one-stop-shopping offered by most large retail markets. Particularly in the realm of cheese, specialized knowledge is essential. There is so much to learn about making, selecting, and enjoying cheese (much like wine) – and we are confident that others want to acquire that knowledge.
