Julie Hook is the ONLY WOMAN TO HAVE WON THE WORLD CHEESE CHAMPIONSHIP. EVER. But this is not the only reason we love Julie. She also makes really bold cheeses, like Cheddars that are aged 5, 10, even 15 YEARS. And she makes the outstanding 1-YEAR aged Hook's Blue.

Most blues are aged a couple months, so seeing one aged for a full year is rare indeed. Hook's Blue is crumbly, rich, piquant, and intense, but also perfectly balanced (the way a great blue should be).
